The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights. Muhammad Ali
The same is true of long distance running; not just in the gym, but in the planning and preparation. Running Ultras is bloody hard work as it is so I do as much as I can before the day to make it as “easy” as possible.
Be it researching the course, planning my pace, looking at what I’ll eat or just talking to a bundle of people about what it’ll be like, if it can cut a few minutes off and save some heartache then I reckon it’s worth the time.
That’s where I come in. We’ll work together to plan the best strategy to get you over that line, under that time and further than you thought possible.
